Bereavement
Groups
We now offer Bereavement Friendship Groups in three areas within Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.
These groups run for two hours, twice per month.
We offer this service at no charge to attendees, but donations are always welcome towards the costs of room hire and refreshments.

You can also raise donations for us by joining easyfundraising.
easyfundraising partners with over 8,000 retailers, including Tesco, Amazon, and all the major stores and brands. They also include holidays, travel, and insurance, so when you shop online with them they'll donate to us for free - at no extra cost to you.

Another way to contribute to our funds is by entering Lotto Abertawe. This local lottery offers weekly draws of £25,000 for £1 a ticket and all sales go to support local charities.
Pontardawe Group
This was our first group, which has now been running for over three years. Several of our original members still attend regularly and continue to benefit from the support. New attendees receive a warm welcome.
We meet at the Wellbeing Hub, in a room off the Men's Shed, from 1.30 to 3.30 pm on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
There is no cost to attend.
In addition to compassionate listening, we talk about ways of coping with grief, managing thoughts and feelings, and practice techniques to focus, induce calm presence, self-soothing, and build resilience.
Neath Group
This group meets in the Council Community Centre next to the Gwyn Theatre, from 12.30 to 2.30 pm, on the first and third Mondays of each month. It has been running for over two years. Newcomers are always welcome to join in our supportive chats and activities.
Project Name
Our Swansea group began in December 2024. It is based in St Mary's Minster in the centre of town. We meet from 12.00 to 2.00 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. New grievers are welcome to join us for a cuppa and a chat.
