About Mindset Vitality
Bereavement Support
We are a UK registered charity set up in 2022 to offer people in South Wales timely support when they are grieving. Wherever you live, we hope that you will find that the information and tips on this website will assist you on your journey through grief.

Our Bereavement Friendship Groups offer safe spaces to share experiences, ask questions and chat with people who get you.

Everyone's journey is unique because each relationship with our loved ones is unique. There's a saying that 'Grief is love with nowhere to go'. That is true and additional pain can come from the less-than-happy memories (or imaginings) of a loved one's final moments or months of physical or emotional suffering, or things said or left unsaid.
There are so many factors that can complicate our grief and make the journey more challenging.

Grief can’t be fixed, but there are ways to ease the pain and loneliness:

-
Attending a community face-to-face group near you and chatting with others who are grieving via our Bereavement Friendship groups.
-
Completing a personal self-assessment and receiving an individual response.
-
Completing an online group support programme.

Board of Trustees
Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Mindset Vitality achieves its core purpose. They also ensure that our charity has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the executive team to enable us and our services for bereaved people to grow and thrive.

We are currently in need of additional trustees, including a treasurer.

Our Mission
We aim to provide bereavement support for people living in South Wales.
Gaynor Rosier - CEO

Gaynor is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, a teacher, and a retired social worker. She has been using a trauma-informed approach for the past 30 years to help people who are struggling with grief and trauma.

Gaynor spent six years as a volunteer with Cruse, a national bereavement charity carrying out one-to-one bereavement support sessions with clients who experienced traumatic grief, speaking with people who rang the national helpline, hosting an online support group, and supervising other volunteers.

Gaynor believes that continual suffering is unnecessary when there is a way to gently release and transmute the pain of grief and trauma. She supports people to practice self-soothing skills in order to gradually release and learn to manage their emotions.

Gaynor founded Mindset Vitality to help people living in South Wales who are grieving to access different levels of support without having to join a long waiting list.

For people who are experiencing complicated grief, Gaynor provides therapeutic help by bringing together trauma-informed therapy, neuroscience, and mindful awareness to empower members of our online six-week group support programme.
